A large number of people has taken the time to answer our surveys for skiers and sledders. THANK YOU!! Your answers, will help us to find answers to questions that we hope will benefit the whole backcountry community, and all the detailed comments that you have provided, will help us to interpret your answers in the correct way. We really cannot express how much we appreciate your participation. It is high time to send out some rewards. First out is a rider from Idaho, congratulations! We will send you a backpack, and hat from Backcountry Access, and a digital inclinometer provided by Black Diamond. We hope that you find use for it. I find the inclinometer to be very handy. I use it on every tour both to test my ability to guess the slope, and to evaluate starting zones and run out paths.
